Ramsgate is a popular holiday seaside holiday resort on the KZN south coast. Situated on the river mouth of the Bilanhlolo river, Ramsgate offers a quaint village atmosphere with many self catering beach front holiday cottages, beach houses and self catering apartments.

Ramsgate has a splashing tidal pool for lots of family fun, and three natural lagoons, one of which has canoes and pedal boats for hire. One beach has blue flag status and the other beach,  favoured by surfers and body-boarders also has a registered boat launch site.

For entertainment, Ramsgate offers a selection of art galleries, craft, collectable and antique purveyors. Throughout the Ramsgate village you can enjoy a large variety of restaurants and cafe's.
